Beautiful weather here yesterday.. allowing these shots from the Duomo at the top of Barga Vecchia… very clear… the haze is back this morning however.. These are the Apuane mountains… where the Carerra marble is quarried…. more later…

There is a great hike from Barga that leads through fields and farms and then up through the woods to the hilltop village of Tiglio Basso, about 45 mins up and the same back. The weather is great! I was a little nervous about where I had parked the rental car so before night closed ...
